Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. He was a part of the legendary film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, such as Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts), How Does The Cap Go remix and Sensimelia. The majority of these songs contributed to his growing popularity with the younger generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997. It proved to be a massively successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at Midem (international music showcase) when it was held in Miami at the beginning of its run. Marley performed on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other nations. Marley was a target in an auction war. He signed with Gee Street/V2
